Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will establish, maintain and enhance customer service via timely order fulfillment, and providing exemplary customer support. The job is also responsible for entering purchase orders, tracking demand and backorders, complaint and incident reporting and supporting post-sales issue resolutions. communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure. 

Responsibilities 
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support improvements in operational execution to ensure service levels are achieved and exceeded.
  • Communicates with customers through email, inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Manages customer account activity including, but are not limited to; customer order fulfillment, customer backorders/substitutes, product change requests, new/lost business submissions and coordinating any customer questions / issues that may arise.
  • Provides outsourced services to customers relating to purchase orders, invoicing, reimbursement, and/or other services by acting as a liaison in problem-solving, research and problem/dispute resolution.
  • Coordinate transportation/shipping providers to ensure prompt and proper movement or shipments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to proper channels.
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure logistics accuracy.
  • Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including helping to resolve customer problems and complaints.
  • Working with transportation/shipping providers making special arrangements to ensure prompt delivery of goods as needed.
  • Tracking all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Track shipment pricing and invoices
  • Ensure that the quality of services provided meets the required standards.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Hands on with outbound and inbound shipments
  • Document all customer interactions
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred 
  • Comfortable using computers and customer management software
  • Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of active listening techniques
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively with great organization skills

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
